Up and away

I'm a really bad blogger. I have been very busy preparing for my trip to the Netherlands and so didn't really have time to do all the things I really wanted to post on the blog. So now after I come back I will make an effort and take pics of all the stuff I've made and am now working on and post them.

I've finished working on two mice (see picture of publication) that I'm making for my pregant friend as sort of cute gifts. She is not 'out' yet as it's early days. So anything 'baby' is not oke. I made these cute little mice (grey and yellow) and all I have to do is sow them up and stuff them. I shall post pics of them too when back. I'm not sure if I'll give them to her as I just found out the room of the baby will be Red and Orange with Pink if it's a girl or Green if it's a boy. So I thought it funny to make them in those colours. I'll let you know if I start again or not.

So I'm flying tomorrow but am not happy. I can't take my needles on board in hand luggage. AS IF any knitter would ever be a danger with them. Knitters are the most peace loving people in the world I'm sure of it. Anyway no crochet and no knitting when flying :( bummer. I will however load up my ipod with podcasts on knitting.

On last thing: I'm in, I'm in, I'm in *does funny dance*. Yes ladies and gentlemen I'm in and can now particpate in the International Scarf Exchange (ISE) nummero 4 and am soooo happy. I will be knitting a scarf for someone I know know and someone else will knit me a scarf. Isn't that fab! Sigh. I will think about it on the plane and then when back I will get the yarn and start. Oh it will be so much fun! Keep you posted on my progress ( I promise)

I couldn't resist taking a pic when I was still working on them

Have a good trip--it'll be hard, I know, without plane-knitting!
